Captain Marco Reus lamented his missed chances in an interview with Eurosport, while Matthias Sammer deemed the 0-0 draw at Hannover 96 to be "fair" and Roman Bürki told BVB TV: "We didn't find any solutions, especially in our build-up play."

Marco Reus: "I had the two biggest opportunities and I'm annoyed that I didn't take them. I should've scored one of the two. The 0-0 draw is a fair result based on the balance of play. We played too deep and didn't trust ourselves to defend further forward. When we did manage to get into our passing flow, we were almost always dangerous. But we did that too infrequently. We looked relatively solid and gave little away. The defensive performance was in order, but going forward we can play with more purpose."

Roman Bürki: "We're not 100 percent satisfied. We didn't deserve to take home all three points. It wasn't enough. We didn't find any solutions, especially in our build-up play. Perhaps there wasn't enough movement from us. But Hannover were very well positioned, played aggressively in midfield and won almost every second ball. Our defensive showing was good. What was important was that we kept a clean sheet and didn't lose."

Matthias Sammer: "The draw is a fair result. The initial outlines of compactness were visible, but we're not yet doing things automatically. When the Dortmund players move the ball about, they have qualities."

André Breitenreiter (Hannover 96 coach): "We delivered an excellent performance today, kept a team brimming with quality away from our goal for lengthy spells and obtained a deserved result."
