Dortmund will get its first taste of 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League action this Wednesday (21.00 CET) when AS Monaco come to Signal Iduna Park for a Matchday 2 fixture. For this fixture, there are a few familiar pieces of information to get reacquainted with - but also a few new ones.

As is standard practice for European matches, the lower rang of the north stand as well as the entirety of the south stand will be converted into seating. The total capacity is thereby reduced to 66,099. UEFA have once more made it clear that all indicated stairwell areas must be kept clear at all times! Failure to comply may result in sanctions being taken against the club.

The 21.00 CET kick-off time is a change from last season (when matches would kick-off at 20.45). Another change from last season is that normal beer can now be sold from hospitality outlets (subject to change). In addition, BVB has responded to various requests from fans and has decided to open new vegan food stands in the west and north stands. These stands will offer Asian style fried noodles, made to a special recipe from BVB chef Dennis Rother. Furthermore, as part of a pilot scheme, reusable cups will now be handed out in the REWE family zone instead of disposable cups.  (br)
