Borussia Dortmund's U19s are already under pressure in the UEFA Youth League and cannot afford to lose their home game against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday (14:00 CET in Brackel) if they want to keep their hopes of reaching the knockouts alive.

The U19s, who have already won 10 times this season in national competitions (Bundesliga, DFB Cup), will be bolstered by first-team youngster Sergio Gómez, who recently made a successful debut for the Spain U19 team.

"Atlético are known for their possession style and they're a big name," said coach Benjamin Hoffmann of the opposition, who kicked off their Youth League campaign with a 2-0 win in Monaco before losing 2-1 to Club Bruges. BVB, meanwhile, drew 1-1 in Bruges but subsequently lost 2-0 at home to Monaco. (wiwi)
