Lithuanian referee Gediminas Mazeika will oversee the UEFA Champions League group game between Borussia Dortmund and Club Bruges on Wednesday evening. The 40-year-old has previously taken charge of two games in Europe's premier club competition.

Mazeika also previously refereed the German national team's 3-0 win over the Faroe Islands in a World Cup qualifier back in 2013, as well as another World Cup qualifying win – 6-0 at home to Norway – four years later. He has officiated 66 games at international level, ranging from the Intertoto Cup to the Champions League.

Vytautas Šimkus and Vytenis Kazlauskas will be assisting him on the sidelines, with Donatas Rumšas and Manfredas Lukjancukas the goal-line officials. (br)
