German top-flighters Borussia Dortmund are sending Sebastian Rode (28) out on loan to league rivals Eintracht Frankfurt with immediate effect. The loan has been agreed to end on 30 June 2019.

"We thank Sebastian Rode for his involvement until now and wish him all the best at Eintracht, full of health and good playing experiences," said BVB Sporting Director Michael Zorc.

Rode made the change from Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund during the 2016/17 season and has represented BVB in 14 Bundesliga fixtures (one goal scored) and four Champions League fixtures with two appearances in the DFB Cup.
