"It was end to end." Lucien Favre and Roman Bürki both used the same words to describe what was a spectacular match, especially in the opening half. Marco Reus declared: "We need to focus on ourselves, the rest will then happen automatically." Here are the initial reactions from Frankfurt.

Lucien Favre: "It was a very interesting match with high intensity. It was end to end. At the beginning, in the first 15 minutes, it was complicated for us. Frankfurt pressed very high and made it difficult for us to dictate the play and dominate the ball. In the period that followed it was better, and we had some very good chances to score. Both sides did well in the second period too. They both wanted to win. We had three or four situations where we could've seen them through better. We absolutely wanted to win and must settle for the 1-1 draw."

Roman Bürki: "It was end to end. We had a lot of space on the flanks when we countered. But they performed well too. Frankfurt's strengths lie in their attack. You could see that today. Their physical presence meant they could often assert themselves well. We had the clearer chances in the first half. It was an even game. Nonetheless, we're still not satisfied."

Marco Reus: "We've always emphasised that we want to win every game. That's how we perform. We need to focus on ourselves, the rest will then happen automatically."
