A minute's silence will be held for Lothar Geisler, who recently passed away at the age of 82, prior to the home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf at Signal Iduna Park on 11 May (15:30 CET). In addition, the Borussia Dortmund team will wear black armbands.

The Westphalian native, who was born in Dortmund on 8 December 1936, was always an understated hero in Dortmund despite playing for the club in one of its most successful eras. Among his career highlights were a second-placed finish in the 1961 German Championship, a runner-up medal in the 1963 DFB Cup, a German Championship victory in 1963 and some exhilarating European clashes with Benfica.
