Having already beaten FC Barcelona at home, the Borussia Dortmund U19s today won 2-1 in Catalonia to take their points tally in the UEFA Youth League group phase to nine. They now sit joint-top of their group along with Inter Milan and Slavia Prague.

The goalscorers – Tobias Raschl and Giovanni Reina – were the same two players who netted for the Black & Yellows in their 2-1 win in the reverse fixture. Goalkeeper Luca Unbehaun saved a penalty.

The result means Dortmund are vying with Slavia Prague and Inter Milan for a place in the knockout stages. Michael Skibbe's team will play host to the Czechs, who beat Inter Milan 4-1 today, in their final group game on 10 December (kick-off 16:00 CET). The Nerazzurri will host Barcelona in the group's other game.

In what was a thrilling and fast-paced encounter, Skibbe's charges produced probably their best performance of the season and now have the chance to finish top of the group if they can beat Slavia Prague on the final matchday.

Barcelona broke the deadlock at the Estadio Johan Cruyff with a well-worked goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tobias Raschl teed up Giovanni Reyna for the equaliser nine minutes later and then scored the winning goal himself on the 65-minute mark.

BVB: Unbehaun – Terzi, Ferjani, Schell, Göckan – Raschl – Khadra (Wengerowski, 88), Pherai (Schlüsselburg, 88), Reyna, Bakir (Knauff, 71) – Moukoko (Hetemi, 79). (wiwi/br)
