The Borussia Dortmund U17s' dreams of a hat-trick of titles remain alive after they drew their top-of-the-table Bundesliga West clash at 1. FC Cologne 3-3. Sebastian Geppert's charges trailed 2-0 and 3-1 in a turbulent and – for parts of the second half – high-quality game of the round, but fought back to take a point.

The BVB goals were scored by Bradley Fink, Samuel Bamba and Dennis Lütke-Frie, who converted a penalty kick to level the score at 3-3 in stoppage time. Ken Mata had earlier missed a spot-kick. "The team showed excellent spirit," remarked Sebastian Geppert.

BVB will next be in action when they welcome SG Unterrath to the Hohenbuschei Youth Performance Centre on Saturday. (wiwi)
