Borussia Dortmund's chief executive officer, Hans-Joachim Watzke, celebrates his 61st birthday this Sunday. The entrepreneur has been in the role since 2005.

During this time, BVB have won two Bundesliga titles (2011, 2012), two DFB Cups (2012, 2017) and reached the UEFA Champions League final (2013). They also recently secured second spot in the league for the fifth time in the last eight years, which underlines a consistently high level of sporting performance. Since 2010, Borussia Dortmund have been continuously involved in European football. And as runners-up in Germany, BVB will take part in the UEFA Champions League for the sixth season in a row in 2020/21 – and for the ninth time in total during Watzke's tenure.
