BVB will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday (14/09). Around 2,000 BVB fans will travel to Manchester to support the team. Kick-off is at 20:00 local time. We recommend that all travelling BVB supporters read the fan information compiled below before the trip in order to avoid problems on the day of the match.

Travel
Please note that you need to bring your passport to gain entry to Great Britain.

Travel by car

BVB fans who are travelling by car must purchase a ticket for the BLUE CAR or GREEN CAR PARK via the website in advance. The car park is located in the direct vicinity of the away entrance. The parking fee is £8-10. 

Travel by bus and minibus

Fan buses and minibuses, as well as wheelchair users, can park at Gate 7 directly behind the away block following prior registration with the Fan Representatives. The car park will open on the morning of the match. The car parks are signposted on location.

Meeting point
The police in Manchester recommend Shambles Square as a meeting point for all BVB fans.

Entrance
The away sector is located in blocks 113/114, 213/214 and 313/314 in the South Stand. Admission will take place via the entrance L. The stadium will open 120 minutes prior to kick-off – at 18:00 local time. 

Please note that extensive checks will take place at the admission points. We therefore ask you to be prepared for longer waiting times.

The following fan utensils are permitted:

  • Fence flags provided there is space (up to a maximum size of 2m x 1m, a fire certificate must be presented for fence flags larger than 2m x 1m)
  • 4 drums (including replacement sticks), interior visible (pre-approved)

Banned items:

  • Megaphones
  • Flagpoles of any kind
  • Flags of any kind larger than 2m x 1m
  • Pyrotechnics (possession of pyrotechnics constitutes a crime)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Bags and backpacks
  • Bringing food and drink into the stadium
  • Selfie sticks
  • Large walking-stick umbrellas

There is no drop-off point for bags and backpacks at the stadium.  

At the stadium
As is the norm at international matches, the unwritten rule of free seating shall apply within the seated blocks. If the seat indicated on your ticket is occupied, there will certainly be something free in other parts of the away sector. 

Smoking is not permitted across the entire stadium premises. The same applies for e-cigarettes. 

UEFA Youth League
The Youth League match will take place at Manchester City's Academy Stadium at 15:00 local time on Wednesday 14/09. The tickets can be purchased in advance via the Manchester City Online Ticket Shop or directly on location. The ticket prices for the Youth League match are £3 for adults and £1 for children, youths and persons over the age of 65. 

Please note that food and drinks cannot be brought into the stadium with you. No alcohol will be sold in the stadium.

Other information
Upon presentation of a valid ticket for the match against Manchester City, BVB fans will receive a 30% discount on stadiums tours at the Etihad Stadium. The discount only applies to advance bookings. The offering is valid from Monday 12 September to Friday 16 September.
