Referee: a Spaniard in charge

Jesús Gil Manzano will officiate the match. The 39-year-old Spaniard will be assisted by linesmen Diego Barbero and Ángel Nevado. Another Spaniard, Alejandro Hernández, will act as video assistant. Manzano has previously taken charge of two matches involving BVB: a Europa League match in Bergamo in February 2018 (a 1-1 draw with Atalanta) and a Champions League match away in Amsterdam last season (a 4-0 defeat to Ajax).

SIGNAL IDUNA PARK will be at full capacity, with 81,365 spectators. Chelsea have taken up the entirety of the available away allocation (five percent of the stadium capacity). The away fans will be placed in blocks 8, 60, 61 (standing) and 70, 75 (seated).

The match will be broadcast live on DAZN. Laura Wontorra will present the coverage, Michael Ballack will be providing his expert opinion and Uli Hebel is on commentary duty.
