Borussia Dortmund will be without central defender Nico Schlotterbeck for the time being. The player underwent medical examinations following the Bundesliga top match against FC Bayern Munich last Saturday.

Schlotterbeck was forced off shortly before the half-time break with an injury and was replaced by Mats Hummels. The diagnosis is now confirmed: the 23-year-old suffered a muscle fibre tear with tendon involvement in Munich and will therefore not be at BVB's disposal for the time being.
