Borussia Dortmund arrived with 27 players at their training camp in La Manga, Spain, on Thursday. Shortly after their arrival, the team had their first training session.

Due to strong headwinds, the flight from Dortmund to Murcia took two hours and 45 minutes, and so a bit longer than planned. The short delay, however, did not slow the schedule much as the team’s bus was already waiting on the runway to take them on the 45-minute drive to La Manga.

The first training session started at 5.15 pm in good weather (16 °C, slightly overcast sky), with the focus on stabilisation exercises. Afterwards, the players were then scheduled to meet with the media.
