The reactions to the match in Darmstadt from Edin Terzic, Jadon Sancho, Gregor Kobel, Marco Reus, Salih Özcan and Julian Brandt.

Edin Terzic (to Sky): "It didn't all work, but lots of things did work. It was a deserved victory, we scored three goals and had one or two opportunities to score one or two more goals. Nonetheless, we managed to give away few chances to the opposition. It wasn't not an easy game."

Jadon Sancho (to Sky): "Since I've been back here, it's felt like I'm home. I'm just happy to be on the pitch. Marco is a good friend of mine and I'm just happy that I could set up a goal for him. My objective is to be happy again and to help the team get back into the top three. We're taking it game by game and I'm sure sure that we'll do well if we keep fighting in every match."

Gregor Kobel (in the mixed zone): "There were most certainly one or two things that we could've done better. We're not yet quite where we want to be in terms of our play. We tried to play out from the back. I had the ball more frequently than usual. Darmstadt consistently played man-to-man. We were able to pose a danger when we won the second balls. You could see that Jadon is happy to be back here. He's been extremely positive from the beginning and always has a smile on his face. That brings a freshness to the team. Ian also performed outstandingly today. He was very courageous on the ball and also completely fulfilled his duties defensively."

Marco Reus (to Sky): "It was tough as expected, and that's how it looked too. Darmstadt made it tough for us. We couldn't get into our flow. We needed a long time to find our way into the game. The goal for 1-0 paved the way. It was a hard-fought win today. We'll get out of this with small steps."

Salih Özcan (in the mixed zone): "We prepared for an ugly game with long balls and approached it with confidence. Hats off to Greg for the way he saved the ball from Pfeifer. We can always count on him. At the end, spaces opened up that we played into well. The three points are important."

Julian Brandt (to Sky): "It wasn't a game that I'll still remember in 10 years' time. It was a very disjointed, chaotic match with a great result for us. The ball was quickly lost at the beginning, we didn't have any control. The opening goal came out of nothing. But that's also a quality that we have to develop. Jamie asserted himself very well for the goal, I sprinted into space and didn't get the perfect contact but it was enough. Darmstadt got tired during the second half and then came the chances. But it was no spectacle."
