BVB will head to Munich without the ill Gregor Kobel (now an infection), the suspended Marcel Sabitzer and the injured Donyell Malen and Rami Bensebaini. BVB will field the following XI: Meyer, Schlotterbeck, Nmecha, Sancho, Füllkrug, Hummels, Brandt, Maatsen, Can, Ryerson, Adeyemi.

Referee: Osmers in charge

Harm Osmers, 39, from Hanover will oversee a 14th Bundesliga match involving Borussia Dortmund (eight wins, three draws and two defeats to date), the most recent of which was the 3-0 victory over Freiburg on 9 February. Robert Kempter and Thorben Siewer will assist on the sidelines. Benjamin Cortus will be the video assistant referee.

Numbers: Hummels on verge of record

He currently shares the record with Michael Zorc: Mats Hummels could become the outright record appearance-maker in clashes between FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. He would be making an appearance for one of the two teams in a head-to-head clash for the 29th time.

The match can be watched live on TV via Sky. The pre-match coverage will start at 17:30 CET. Sebastian Hellmann will present the programme, with Julia Simic and Lothar Matthäus on punditry duty.
