Hummels and the belief in victory in the final

His first Champions League goal for Borussia Dortmund in 11 years (then in a 2-2 draw in Donetsk in the round of 16) paved the way for Wembley. "In any case, I've scored too few Champions League goals in my career," laughed the match-winner to Prime in an interview, adding: "It was a good time to top up the account slightly..."

Mats Hummels: "From the way he had defended against me at the corner beforehand, I knew that I could somehow get the space. It worked wonderfully. Jule delivered the ball perfectly onto my head. We will – regardless of whom – face a very strong opponent. It will also be a battle with the atmosphere and with the significance of the match. But we already dealt well with that today. Since the second game in the group stage, we've believed that we can compete in the Champions League. We've now proven that so often. There is no reason whatsoever for us not to believe that we can win the final too. On Saturday, we owe it to all the other teams to perform at 100%. Every training session and the two games are focused on 1 June. They are preparation matches for Wembley. We want to rehearse a lot of things in those."
