FAQ | BVB account and personal data
The BVB account is the central access point for using all of BVB's digital services. We have summarised the most frequently asked questions about the BVB account here.
You can set up a BVB account at any time at bvb.de/login. All you need is an e-mail address, a password, your name and your date of birth. Please note that you must be at least 14 years old to register a BVB account.
For security reasons, the password must be at least twelve characters long and contain at least one lower-case letter, one upper-case letter, one special character and one number. The password must not contain any personal data such as your name.
If your membership is not listed, our service team will have to create the link in the system. Please send a message from your account email address to [email protected] stating your full name, address, date of birth and membership number.
If you have forgotten your password, you can use the “Forgot your password?” function. You can reset your password in just a few steps and then log in.
If you have forgotten your email address, the “Forgot your password?” function will also help you. The email to reset your password will only be sent if the email address entered is also registered with a BVB account. So start the "Forgot your password?" process and enter the email address that you have probably linked to your account: If you receive the email to reset your password at , you know that you are registered with this email address.

After logging into your personal BVB account, you can change the following data:
- Password
- Nickname
- Email address
- Your language
- Postal address
- Telephone and mobile number
You can only change the following data in consultation with our service:
- First name and surname
- Date of birth
- Bank details
To change these details, please send a message from your account email address to [email protected]. Please include an official document that can prove the change request and state your full name, address and date of birth.
In order to create a BVB account for a KidsClub member, we require a declaration of consent signed by both parents or legal guardians.
Please send the signed declaration of consent by email to [email protected].
Important note: For technical reasons, the e-mail address you wish to use for the KidsClub member's BVB account must not already be used for another BVB account.
If you no longer need your BVB account, you can deactivate it yourself. Log in to your BVB account and go to “Account Settings”. You can permanently deactivate your account by clicking on the “Deactivate BVB Account” button.
