Svenja Schlenker
Svenja Schlenker, born on May 4, 1983, in Kassel, Germany, holds a degree in business administration and began her professional career in May 2007 with the sports rights marketing company Sportfive as part of the Borussia Dortmund team. With a focus on marketing during her studies, she spent many years working in children's and youth marketing before moving to the newly created marketing department at BVB in November 2010. Since December 2019, Svenja Schlenker has been fully involved in developing girls‘ and women‘s soccer and has headed the department since its inception in October 2020. She was also a member of the KGaA works council for a total term of eight years, the last four of which she served as chair. Svenja Schlenker is now responsible for human resources at Borussia Dortmund as managing director, while also retaining overall management of girls‘ and women‘s soccer at Borussia Dortmund.
