On Friday morning, the Borussia Dortmund players will commence their journey from Dortmund Airport to Malaga. The BVB contingent will then take the bus to Marbella, where they will be holding a training camp for the first time after a two-year break.

The Black & Yellows will be in southern Spain preparing for the challenges ahead until 14 January and will be hoping to use the 09 days to lay the foundations for a successful second half of the season. Coach Edin Terzic has a full squad at his disposal: all the players who have recently been injured or carrying a knock will make the journey to Spain. Sébastian Haller and Mateu Morey will also be there as they take the next steps towards their comeback.

The first training session will take place at 16:30 CET on Friday afternoon at the Banús Football Centre training ground (Dama de Noche) and will be open to the public. An overview of all public training sessions can be found here. 

Borussia Dortmund will also play two friendly fixtures during the training camp – against Fortuna Düsseldorf on 10/1 (16:00 CET) and against FC Basel on 13/1 (15:30 CET). Both matches will be broadcast live on BVB-TV by 1&1. (cr)
