FIFA referee Deniz Aytekin will oversee the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and Rasenballsport Leipzig at Signal Iduna Park on Sunday. He will be assisted by Christian Dietz and Eduard Beitinger on the sidelines, with Johann Pfeifer the fourth official.

Aytekin, a 40-year-old business economist from Oberasbach in Bavaria, referees for TSV Altenberg and has previously overseen 146 top-flight matches. He has already taken charge of 19 Bundesliga games involving BVB (10 wins, three draws, six defeats), with the most recent a 3-2 victory over Frankfurt on 11 March 2018. He also refereed the 2017 DFB Cup final, in which Borussia Dortmund beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1.

Sport and music are listed among the hobbies of the FIFA referee, who was a goal-line assistant at EURO 2012. (br)
