BVB announce low number of season tickets

This summer, Borussia Dortmund is once again cancelling the season tickets of season ticket holders who have attended fewer than 10 Bundesliga home games at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. A low three-digit number of season tickets will be affected by this at the close of the 2023/24 season.

The reason behind this is the desire on the part of BVB and their fans to always be able to contest matches in front of a sell-out crowd at Germany's largest stadium and to enable as many fans as possible to attend matches. The privilege of season ticket use should not come at the expense of other fans.

Season tickets in Dortmund are traditionally a rare and coveted commodity. Borussia Dortmund sell 55,000 season tickets year-in year-out and thousands of BVB fans are on the waiting list for a season ticket. The contingent is now being refilled via this very waiting list ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The so-called no-show rate is a project developed jointly by Borussia Dortmund, the BVB Fan and Facilitation Department and the Fan Council.
