Fan information for the away game against FC Augsburg

BVB are away at the WWK-Arena in Augsburg on Saturday. The match will start at 15:30 CET, with the stadium set to open two hours before kick-off. Around 3,000 fans will be supporting the Black & Yellows in Augsburg. We have summarised the most important information for BVB fans below.

Travel

Travel by train

  • From the main station, take the stadium line to the "Fußball-Arena" stop.
  • The stadium line runs every five minutes on matchday from two hours before the match and every 2 to 3 minutes after the match. The travel time from the main station is around 20 minutes.
  • All match tickets are valid as tickets for local public transport (bus and tram) operated by Augsburger Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (avg) in zones 10 and 20 (three hours before and after the match).
  • Match tickets are not valid as travel tickets on regional trains and regional buses operated by the Augsburger Verkehrsverbund (AVV).

Travel by bus

  • Buses can park in the visiting bus park directly in front of the away sector. The parking fee is €20.

Travel by car/minibus

  • A separate away parking area for cars is not offered. Parking areas P1 and P4 at the stadium are available (parking fee €10).
  • From the north: Via the B2 (Donauwörth-Augsburg), then continue on the B17 towards Landsberg. Stay on that road until you reach the "Arena" exit.
  • From the south: Via the B17 (Landsberg-Augsburg). Stay on it until you reach the "Arena" exit.
  • From the west: Via the A8 (Stuttgart-Munich), exit Augsburg-West (direction Augsburg, Landsberg). You are now on the B17. Stay on that road until you reach the "Arena" exit.
  • From the east: Via the A8 (Munich-Stuttgart), exit Augsburg-West (direction Augsburg, Landsberg). You are now on the B17. Stay on that road until you reach the "Arena" exit.
  • In addition, the parking area at Messe Augsburg can be used (parking fee €6). From there, shuttle buses will run to the stadium free of charge.

Admission

  • The stadium opens two hours before kick-off.
  • The away entrance is entrance 5. Admission is only possible via the entrance assigned on the ticket.
  • The match tickets can be presented in both paper form and on your mobile phone at the entrance.
  • There is a free-of-charge drop-off point for bags, rucksacks and other items that cannot be taken with you into the stadium at the away entrance.
  • Please note that there is a ban on carrying glass bottles and alcohol from the moment you enter the parking area.

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • Fence flags (provided space is available)
  • 4 megaphones (already assigned)
  • 5 drums (already assigned)
  • Small flags (pole length up to 1.50 metres, diameter up to 2 cm)
  • Double-holders (pole length up to 1.50 metres, diameter up to 2 cm)
  • 15 swivel flags

Please note that flagpoles must generally be made of plastic; wooden sticks are not permitted.

Forbidden fan paraphernalia:

  • Pyrotechnics

Forbidden items:

  • Deodorant and other spray cans
  • Bags and rucksacks (with the exception of belt bags or fanny packs)
  • Power banks
  • Helmets and umbrellas

 

Stadium

  • The standing area is located in Block W, the seats in Block X.
  • It is strictly forbidden to climb the fences in the away block due to safety reasons (danger of falling).
  • Steps and stairways must be kept clear.
  • Food and drinks can exclusively be paid for in cashless form via card (EC and credit card) at the respective sales kiosks.
  • Alcohol is served in the away block.
  • Please note the current Stadium Regulations.

 

Other information

  • The entire premises of the WWK-Arena (including parking spaces and the away bus entrance too) belong to the FC Augsburg event area. It is forbidden for persons with a stadium ban to loiter there.
  • As part of the "Augsburg Calling" campaign, BVB fans will this time have the opportunity to take part in city tours or visit selected museums free of charge. You can find more information here.
  • The FCA-KidsClub invites all visiting children from the ages of 6 and 13 to take part in an exclusive lap of honour directly before the start of the match. Together, the kids will complete a lap around the pitch and greet the fans at the stadium. Registration is via [email protected].

 

Barriere-free fan info

  • The disabled parking area is part of the PD car park. Persons can park here free of charge if they can present an "Extraordinarily Walking Disabled" (aG) or "Blind" (BI) symbol in their disabled parking permit.
  • It is possible to obtain radio receivers for the visually impaired coverage. Please contact the fan representatives for this.
  • Wheelchair users can park free of charge in the away bus parking lot following prior registration with the fan representatives.
