Facts: First clean sheet for BVB in 09 matches - and Malen makes the difference
Superior: BVB had possession which peaked at 67 per cent and averaged 62 per cent, had almost three times as many shots on goal (20-7 shots), had 11-3 corners, and won 52 per cent of challenges.
Long way forward: The Black&Yellows played 105 long balls, which is more than any other team this Champions League season. Overall, 601 BVB passes (highest figure: Man City, 782) were counted - a good 87 per cent of which reached their target.

Clean sheet: After 09 games in a row where they conceded at least one goal, Borussia Dortmund kept a clean sheet for the first time since 18 September (3-0 in Bruges), and for only the third time in any competitive match this season.
Match winner: Donyell Malen, who was substitued on in the 67th minute, converted one of his two shots into the winning goal. It was his second goal of the current Champions League season, after scoring 14 days ago in Madrid (one goal, one assist). Overall it was his sixth Champions League goal, and his 33rd appearance.
