Travel information for the home game against Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund will face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Wednesday evening (11/12, kick-off at 21:00 CET). Unscheduled stops at the stadium and special trains will complement the scheduled services.

NWL Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe informs that individual lines are closed due to construction work:

RB 53 (Dortmund - Schwerte - Iserlohn): Cancellation and rail replacement service from Dortmund via Schwerte to Iserlohn (stop Max-Planck-Gymnasium/Ardeystraße)
RE 57 (Dortmund - Arnsberg - Winterberg/Brilon): Cancellation on the section from Dortmund to Fröndenberg/Meschede and replacement by rail replacement services (stop Max-Planck-Gymnasium/Ardeystraße)
RB 59 (Dortmund - Soest): Cancellation and rail replacement service between Holzwickede and Unna
Special TRI train to Hamm: Due to the closure between Holzwickede and Unna, the special train will run from Signal Iduna Park station via Dortmund main station and Kamen to Hamm (without stopping at the main station on arrival)

There is also a closure of the S4 (Dortmund-Stadthaus - Unna).

Arrival:

The special TRI train from Hamm main station (departure 18:48) runs via Kamen and Dortmund main station to Signal Iduna Park station (arrival 19:27).
The RB 52 from Lüdenscheid stops at Signal Iduna Park station at 19:17.

Departure:

The special train in the direction of Lünen will depart Signal Iduna Park station at 23:15 and travel via Lünen and Lüdinghausen to Coesfeld (arrival: 00:17).
The special TRI train will depart Signal Iduna Park station at 23:29 and travel via Dortmund main station (23:35) to Hamm (arrival: 00:07).
The RB 52 will depart Signal Iduna Park station for Lüdenscheid at 23:42.

Car

Those travelling by car should note the construction work in the B1 tunnel on Ardeystrasse. Only one of the two tunnel tubes is open to traffic, the other tube is closed because it is being renovated. There may be traffic jams in the tunnel on the day of the match.

For all fans travelling by car, DOPARK is now selling parking tickets for home games in advance. Tickets are sold exclusively via the DOPARK Ticket Shop. Ticket holders have the advantage that their booked parking space remains reserved until the start of the match, meaning that the sometimes lengthy search for a free parking space is no longer necessary. It also makes travelling to the stadium easier, as there is no need to pay at the car park entrance.

Combi-tickets and passenger information

BVB tickets are valid on the day of the match as a combined ticket for one outbound and one return journey. The ticket can be used on all surcharge-free local trains (second class) as well as all buses and trains operated by local transport companies throughout NRW. The DSW21 ticket can be ordered free of charge at https://kombiticket.dsw21.de/.

After just ten minutes, Couto and Manzambi saw yellow cards for a tussle on the touchline. There were also fiery scenes on the pitch: Guirassy headed a well-timed Fabio Silva cross just past the left post in the 9th minute, and shortly afterwards, Manzambi beat Can around the left hand corner of the six yard box, but he did not get enough behind his shot, meaning that Kobel could easily stop it on 9 minutes.<\/p>\nBorussia Dortmund had enjoyed 66 percent of the possession in the first 20 minutes \u2013 and also carved out the first big chance. After a one-two with Guirassy, Chukwuemeka took aim from an acute angle, but his shot hit the side netting in the 21st minute. Shortly afterwards, Can earned the chance to open the scoring as a result of some high pressing, which caused Freiburg to lose the ball in their half, but his shot from 17 metres was not accurate or powerful enough on 24 minutes. After exactly half an hour, the Black & Yellows were rewarded for their courageous performance: Couto struck a free kick from the right side into the box, Bensebaini chested the ball down and prodded it over the line to make it 1-0 in the 31st minute. It was Bellingham\u2019s first foul in the game.
