Visitor information for Christmas Carol Singing - please arrive early
Arrival
- The stadium opens at 14:00 CET.
- We recommend arriving by 14:30 CET so that everyone can be in their seats in time for the start of the programme with more than 70,000 spectators.
- A warm-up begins at 16:00 CET.
- The official programme starts at 16:30 CET and will consist of two 45 minute sessions with a 15-minute break in between.
Travelling by public transport:
- The ticket to the event allows the holder to travel with no additional charge on public transport for the Dortmund city area (fare zones 37/38).
- As these are Print@home tickets, the tickets must be called up separately via the DSW21 portal, as for Bundesliga matches.
- The light rail services will operate in the same way as for BVB matches, including additional services on lines U45 and 450 (Westfalenhallen - Schanze). The additional E-cars on lines 448 and 453 will also be running.
- The Uni-Shuttle will be offered.
Travelling by car:
- The (chargeable) public car parks A, C, D, E and F are open; most of the A car parks are occupied due to parallel events at Messe Dortmund. We therefore recommend travelling by public transport or using other car parks if travelling by car.
- The Luftbad car park may only be used by persons with the appropriate parking authorisation.
- On the day of the event, there is a parking ban on Strobelallee.
