DFL confirms the schedule for seven matchdays – big matches against Leipzig and Munich

The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the schedule for Matchdays 6-12 of the 2024/25 season. Borussia Dortmund will play six games on a Saturday and one on a Friday evening during that period.


Matchday 6 will see BVB travel to take on Union Berlin on Saturday 5 October (kick-off: 15:30 CEST). After the international break in mid-October, BVB will open Matchday 7 with the Friday evening match at home against the promoted St. Pauli (18 October, kick-off: 20:30 CEST). The Saturday after that, BVB will head to Augsburg (26 October, kick-off: 15:30 CEST).

On 2 November, the Black & Yellows have a big match in SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, when Nuri Sahin's team will play host to Leipzig in Dortmund (kick-off: 18:30 CEST). After the away game in Mainz (9 November, 15:30 CEST), BVB have two home games: FC Freiburg will be our guests on 23 November (kick-off: 15:30 CET), and Bayern Munich will be in town for the big match at 18:30 CET one week later (30 November).
