Fan info for the away game against Holstein Kiel

BVB will be in action at the Holstein-Stadion at 18:30 CET on Tuesday (14/01). Around 1,700 BVB fans will support the team at the Bundesliga match in Kiel. We have compiled the most important info for you below.

Arrival

Arrival by car:

  • There is no car parking available to away fans around the Holstein-Stadion. 
  • The away parking lot is located about two kilometres from the stadium in Leibnitzstraße, 24118 Kiel. Away fans can take a free shuttle service directly from there to the away block.
  • Directions: Take the B76 to the Kronshagen Nord exit, turn left onto Eckernförder Straße, after approx. 800 metres turn right onto Johann-Fleck-Straße, after approx. 500 metres turn right onto Olshausenstraße and then turn left into Leibnizstraße from Olshausenstraße. The supervised shuttle parking lot is located at the end of the street.

Arrival by bus/minibus:

  • A parking lot for away buses and minibuses is located in the away area. Buses can also park in Projensdorfer Straße (to the side of the away area).
  • Road closures are to be expected in the immediate vicinity of the Holstein-Stadion. Please do not take the first exit to the Holstein-Stadion, but rather follow the B76 in the direction of Eckernförde. 
  • Directions: Take the Kiel-Steenbek/Projensdorf exit, turn right at the traffic lights into Steenbeker Weg and follow Steenbeker Weg until you reach the Projensdorfer Straße junction. Then turn right into Projensdorfer Straße. You will then arrive directly at the stadium and the away block, where you will also find the away parking lot.

Arrival by train:

  • There will be a free shuttle service running from Kiel main train station to the Holstein-Stadion starting two hours before kick-off. Please note that this will also be used by KSV Holstein fans. The buses run every 15 minutes.
  • The match ticket does not entitle the holder to a free return journey on public transport (shuttle buses aside).
  • Bus route X91 also runs directly to the Holstein-Stadion from Kiel main train station.

Admission

  • The away entrance is located behind the stadium's east stand, adjacent to the north stand. 
  • The Holstein-Stadion will open at 16:30 CET on Tuesday (two hours before kick-off).
  • Print-at-home tickets can be used both in paper form and digitally on your smartphone (only with an undamaged screen).

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • 5 megaphones (already assigned)
  • 5 drums (visible interior from the bottom, already assigned)
  • Small flags (up to 1.50m pole length, empty plastic tubing) 
  • Swivel flags (over 2m pole length, empty plastic tubing) 
  • Double-holders (empty plastic tubing) 
  • Fence flags (provided space is available) 

Forbidden fan paraphernalia:

  • Pyrotechnics of any kind

Permitted items:

  • Digital cameras without interchangeable lens for private use
  • Bags smaller than DIN A4 size
  • Crutches and walking aids

Forbidden items:

  • Rucksacks and bags larger than DIN A4 size
  • Cannabis
  • Power banks
  • E-cigarettes
  • Food and drinks that were not purchased in the stadium

Further info:

  • There is a storage point for larger bags and rucksacks at the away entrance. 

At the stadium

  • Holstein Kiel set up a new away area during the winter break which is now located in the east stand behind the goal in blocks M (standing section) and P (seated section). 
  • You can pay by card or cash at the stadium.

Info for a barrier-free stadium visit

  • The wheelchair section is located in the main stand in Block G. Wheelchair users should use the south entrance, right next to Ticket Centre 501. The journey by public transport is barrier-free. 
  • In order to access the audio-descriptive coverage at the Holstein-Stadion, you can connect to the radio for the blind using your mobile phone and your own headphones. The radio for the blind can be heard free of charge throughout the stadium. To hear the radio for the blind, you need either the "Raydio - Audio Inklusion" app or the official Holstein-Kiel app. You can find both apps in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
