Referee: Gözübüyük to take charge
Dutchman Serdar Gözübüyük is taking charge of a match involving BVB for the second time. In November 2015, he officiated a 1-0 defeat away to FK Krasnodar in the UEFA Europa League. The 39-year-old referee from Heemsted in the province of North Holland has experience of officiating 21 senior internationals and 15 UEFA Champions League matches. Erwin Zeinstra and Patrick Inia will assist on the touchline, while Pol van Boekel will serve as video assistant referee (as he did most recently for BVB's match away to Real Madrid in October 2024).
Kits: BVB in Black & Yellow
Borussia Dortmund will play in their "Cup jersey" (yellow shirt, black shorts, yellow socks). Bologna will wear a black & red striped shirt, white shorts and black socks.
