Pre-Match Report

Adeyemi to start | Sky to broadcast | Dingert to referee

Borussia Dortmund will face Werder Bremen on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15:30 CET. We have compiled all the info on our Bundesliga home game in a compact format. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Line-up: Adeyemi to start
Mike Tullberg has named his first starting line-up for a Bundesliga match. Borussia Dortmund will start with Kobel, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini, Nmecha, Guirassy, Brandt, Groß, Can, Ryerson, Adeyemi and Gittens. The substitutes: Meyer, Couto, Anton, Reyna, Beier, Duranville, Sabitzer, Campbell and Wätjen.

Referee: Dingert in charge
His 194th football match in the Bundesliga will be his 16th involving Borussia Dortmund: Christian Dingert, 44, from Lebecksmühle will be assisted on the sidelines by Benedikt Kempkes and Nikolai Kimmeyer. Timo Gerach will be the fourth official. Tobias Reichel will be in the VAR booth. Dingert has been a DFB referee since 2002. He has refereed BVB on 15 occasions, most recently in the 2-0 home victory at Union Berlin in March 2024. The business administration graduate's hobbies include cycling and swimming.

Kits: BVB in black and yellow
Borussia will line up as per usual in their yellow shirts with black shorts and yellow socks. Bremen will take to the field in all-white strips with light-green sleeves.

Travel: Ticket included in your ticket
This service from BVB and DSW21 is still unique in the Bundesliga: the match ticket for SIGNAL IDUNA PARK entitles you to an outbound and homeward journey in the entire state of NRW. This also applies to holders of plastic season ticket cards. Holders of a "print@home ticket" or a "mobile ticket" (for example, Apple Wallet) need to have a public transport ticket, which can be ordered online free of charge on this site, in addition to their match ticket.

Tickets: Secondary Market open
The home game against Bremen is sold out. The visitors will be supported by 8,000 fans. The Secondary Market will be open until 13:00 CET on game day. Ticket holders can legally put their season or match tickets up for resale in the BVB Ticket Shop if they are unable to attend the match at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK in person. The ticket holder does not have to give up their individual ticket or season ticket, as the tickets are electronically blocked and can then be re-released. The Secondary Market is available for all sold-out home matches.

Live broadcast: Sky & Net Radio
The match can be watched live on TV via Sky. The pre-match coverage will start at 14:00 CET with Britta Hofmann as presenter and Dietmar Hamann on punditry duty. The match will be commentated by Martin Groß and can be watched on Sky Sport Bundesliga 4. Frank Buschmann will be on the mic for the simulcast. The BVB Net Radio will give you the usual Black & Yellow take. Norbert Dickel and Boris Rupert will be the reporters. The BVB Net Radio will start 15 minutes before kick-off. It is available to everyone on the homepage and in the BVB app on iPhone and Android devices. Match highlights plus the press conference and match reactions will be available via BVB-TV, among others.

Weather: Rainy, very mild
The weather forecast for Saturday: It is expected to rain all day with temperatures around seven degrees. There is a 70% chance of rain.
