Pre-Match Report

Countdown to Frankfurt: Five changes in the line-up

Borussia Dortmund travel to Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:30 CET. We have summarised all the information about our DFB-Pokal away game in a compact format. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Line-up: With Beier in the starting XI
Compared to the Cologne game, Niko Kovac makes five changes: Jobe Bellingham, Julian Brandt, Maxi Beier, Marcel Sabitzer and Aaron Anselmino come into the starting line-up for Ramy Bensebaini, Felix Nmecha, Pascal Groß, Carney Chukwuemeka and Serhou Guirassy.

The line-up: Kobel, Anton, Schlotterbeck, Bellingham, Brandt, Beier, Sabitzer, Svensson, Ryerson, Adeyemi, Anselmino

Ramy Bensebaini misses the match because of back problems.

Referee: Sven Jablonski to officiate
The 35-year-old from Bremen has been assigned to a BVB match for the 14th time. Under Jablonski's watch, BVB has recorded seven wins, three draws and three defeats in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. Two years ago, he refereed BVB's second-round match in Hannover, which ended in a 2-0 victory. Sascha Thielert and Eduard Beitinger will be the assistant referees. There will be no VAR in this round.

Kits: BVB in Black & Yellow
Borussia Dortmund will play in their usual colour combination of yellow shirts, black shorts and yellow socks. Eintracht will play in all white.

Wetter: damp and mild
Weather forecast for Tuesday: rain is expected throughout the day. The maximum temperature will be 12 degrees celsius, falling only slightly in the evening.

Live broadcast: ZDF, Sky and Netradio
The match will be broadcast live on Sky and ZDF. Sky will begin its pre-match coverage at 17:30 CET., while on ZDF it will start at 18:00. Sven Voss will host the ZDF broadcast, with Friederike Kromp providing expert analysis. Gari Paubandt will be on commentary duty. BVB Netradio will be reporting through the usual Black & Yellow lens. Boris Rupert and Christoph Bökamp are the reporters. BVB Netradio will start 15 minutes before kick-off. It can be accessed by everyone on the homepage and in the BVB app on iPhone and Android devices. A summary of the match, as well as the press conference and comments on the game, will be available on BVB-TV, among other places.
