The first national players return to training

After their international games, most of the Black&Yellow players who played for their national teams were back at training in Dortmund on Thursday. “We had a reduced training group today. We left out the national players who played on Tuesday,” BVB coach Niko Kovac explained at the press conference on Thursday (click here for pre-match report).

“Niki isn’t ready yet, he’s still having problems with his toe. Ramy is still struggling with his back, so he isn’t back yet. We managed Emre individually today. Everyone else was there,” the BVB coach explained, referring to Niklas Süle, Ramy Bensebaini and Emre Can. Here are some of the best photos from Thursday’s training session.
