Carsten Cramer offers his support to Gast-Haus

As one of Dortmund's most important drop-in centres for people experiencing homelessness, the Gast-Haus on Rheinische Strasse has been closely linked to the city's community and Borussia Dortmund since it was founded 30 years ago. More than 300 volunteers regularly work there to keep this institution running.

To gain a first-hand impression of this tremendous dedication, Carsten Cramer, the new spokesperson for the BVB management board, spent the morning after the Champions League home match against FK Bodø/Glimt working a shift at Borussia Dortmund's long-standing partner organisation.

“It is always impressive to see and experience the selfless dedication with which the people here give their all every day to make everyday life a little easier for those who need our support the most,” explained Cramer.

Borussia Dortmund and its ‘leuchte auf’ foundation have been supporting the Gast-Haus in a variety of ways for many years. Among other things, proceeds from the annual Christmas carol singing are donated to the facility. Regular donations of goods, clothing and food are also part of the Black & Yellows' ongoing commitment.
