There are four changes compared to the Champions League match: Serhou Guirassy, Carney Chukwuemeka, Emre Can, and Julian Ryerson replace Waldemar Anton, Aaron Anselmino, Maximilian Beier, and Julian Brandt.
Anton and Anselmino had to be substituted due to injuries during the match against Bodø/Glimt and are unavailable. Marcel Sabitzer is still struggling with muscle tightness. Additionally, the injured Julian Brandt has not traveled to Breisgau.

Referee: Zwayer to blow the whistle
Felix Zwayer, 44, will referee a Bundesliga match involving Borussia Dortmund for the 36th time (17 wins, ten draws and eight defeats to date). He last refereed BVB this season in their away match in Heidenheim. Robert Kempter and Christian Dietz are the assistant referees, Wolfgang Haslberger is the fourth official. Benjamin Brand is in charge of VAR.
Live broadcast: DAZN and Netradio
The match will be broadcast live on DAZN. Pre-match coverage starts at 14:45 CET, with Tobi Wahnschaffe as the host. Nils Petersen will be on hand to share his expertise, while Tom Kirsten will be on commentary duties. BVB Netradio will be reporting through the usual Black & Yellow lens. Danny Fritz and Boris Rupert are the reporters. BVB Netradio will start in advance of kick-off. It can be accessed by everyone on the homepage and in the BVB app on iiPhone and Android devices.. Kits: BVB in Black & Yellow
Borussia Dortmund will play in their yellow home kit with black shorts and yellow socks. Freiburg will play in red and white striped shirts, white shorts and socks.

The weather forecast for Sunday: A mix of some sunshine and significantly more clouds is predicted, with temperatures starting at eight degrees and dropping to five degrees in the late afternoon. The probability of rain is given as zero.
