Pre-Match Report
Adeyemi for Duranville | Sky to broadcast | Siebert in charge
Line-up: Adeyemi for Duranville
Niko Kovac will make one change to the starting line-up for his BVB debut. Karim Adeyemi will start in place of Julien Duranville compared to the 2-1 away victory in Heidenheim.
Starting line-up: Kobel, Ryerson, Can, Anton, Bensebaini, Sabitzer, Groß, Adeyemi, Brandt, Gittens, Guirassy
Substitutes: Meyer, Couto, Özcan, Reyna, Beier, Duranville, Svensson, Süle, Wätjen
Referee: Siebert in charge
Daniel Siebert, a 40-year-old teacher from Berlin, will oversee the match. Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn will be the linesmen. Dr. Robin Braun will be the fourth official. Benjamin Cortus will observe the action as the VAR. Siebert has been a FIFA referee since 2014 and cites sport and travel among his interests. He took charge of a BVB game for the first time on 12 September 2015, when Borussia won 4-2 in Hanover. Overall, he has overseen 28 league games involving BVB (19 victories, five draws and four defeats). He last refereed BVB in the league in the 4-0 victory over Darmstadt on Matchday 34 of last season and took charge of this season's DFB-Pokal tie in Wolfsburg, which ended in a 1-0 defeat after extra-time.
Kits: BVB in black and yellow
Borussia Dortmund will line up as per usual in yellow shirts with black shorts and yellow socks. Stuttgart will line up in all-white strips with a red hoop around the chest.
Getting to the stadium: Ticket in a ticket
This service from BVB and DSW21 is still unique in the Bundesliga: The ticket for the game at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK is valid for travel to and from the entire state of North Rhine-Westphalia. This also applies to holders of plastic season tickets. Holders of a Print@Home ticket or a mobile ticket (e.g. Apple Wallet) must carry a public transport ticket in addition to the admission ticket, which must be ordered online free of charge from this site.
Tickets: secondary market open
The 15th home game of the season across all competitions is another sell-out. VfB will bring 8000 fans with them. The secondary ticket market will be open until 13:00 CEST on match day. There, ticket holders can legally offer their season tickets or single match tickets for resale in the BVB ticket shop if they cannot come to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for the game. The ticket owner does not have to hand over their single match ticket or season ticket, as the tickets can be blocked electronically and then re-released. The secondary market is available for all sold-out home games.
Live broadcast: Sky and Netradio
The game will be shown live on Sky [Germany]. Coverage before the game will start at 14:00 CEST. Britta Hofmann (pictured with Patrick Owomoyela) will host the show. Dietmar Hamann will also be in the studio to provide expert punditry. The match commentary will be provided by Martin Groß, and can be seen on Sky Sport Bundesliga 2 [Germany]. Kai Dittmann will be covering the match for the simulcast. The BVB Netradio will provide Black & Yellow colour commentary as usual, with Norbert Dickel and Stephan Gabele on the mics. The BVB Netradio show will start 15 minutes before kick-off. It is available to everyone on the home page and in the BVB app on iPhone and Android devices. A summary of the match, as well as the press conference and reactions to the game can be found on BVB TV, among other places.
