Fan info for the Champions League away game in Lisbon

BVB will play against Sporting CP in the Champions League at the Estádio José Alvalade XXI at 21:00 CET (20:00 local time) on Tuesday. We would like to recommend all BVB fans travelling with us to read the fan information summarised below carefully in advance of the trip in order to avoid problems on the day of the game.

Meeting point

BVB fans are recommended to meet at Rossio Square. Special trains to the stadium will be running from there.

Travel

By metro

  • Take the "Green Line" to the "Telheiras" stop – it is a five-minute walk to the Gate V entrance from there.
  • Please note that for security reasons, it is forbidden for visiting fans to get off and hang around at the "Campo Grande" metro station, since this is exclusively for home supporters and the area around the station serves as a meeting point for Sporting CP fans.

Admission

  • The stadium opens at 18:00.
  • Access to the guest sector is via the Gate V entrance.
  • Access for wheelchair users is also via the Gate V entrance.
  • Stadium visitors must pass through entrance and physical checks, which are carried out by both the security services and the police. Accordingly, longer waiting times are to be expected at the away entrance. We therefore recommend that you arrive at the stadium as early as possible.
  • We ask that you behave with restraint towards the police at all times. Experience shows that the Portuguese police will take firm action in the event of minor incidents.
