BVB send Ramaj out on loan

Borussia Dortmund have sent goalkeeper Diant Ramaj on loan to 1. FC Heidenheim for a year. The loan move was agreed with fellow Bundesliga side Heidenheim on Monday. The 23-year-old’s loan does not include an option to buy.

BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: “After a successful loan spell in Copenhagen, we’re looking forward to seeing Diant prove himself in the Bundesliga with 1. FC Heidenheim. We’re all convinced that this is the perfect time for this move and wish Diant all the best in Heidenheim.”

In the second half of last season, Ramaj played 19 games for FC Copenhagen, winning the Danish league and cup double.
