He was only in the spotlight in the first half, because in the second half, Gregor Kobel watched as his teammates staged a comeback, coming from 0-2 down to win 3-2. The first reaction to the match.

Gregor Kobel (in the mixed zone): “I just watched as the others stepped it up a gear. It was brilliant – a really good performance in the second half. It was great fun with the intensity and the emotions that built up in the stadium. It was a great game, really cool! The first half wasn’t that good, of course, but there's no need to dwell on that. We gifted them the goals, and then we were 0-2 down and we were in a sticky situation. But at the end of the day, a match is 90 minutes, and in those 90 minutes, we turned it round with a good performance.”
