Travel information for the home game against St. Pauli

Borussia Dortmund will welcome FC St. Pauli to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Friday evening (kick-off 20:30 CEST). Fans can expect travel disruptions, especially on the way home.

NWL Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe has announced that some routes will be closed on the way home due to construction works:

  • RB 53 (Dortmund – Schwerte – Iserlohn): Cancellation and rail replacement service from Dortmund to Iserlohn via Schwerte
  • RE 57 (Dortmund – Arnsberg – Winterberg/Brilon): Among other things, cancellation on the section from Dortmund to Fröndenberg/Meschede (depending on the time period) and replacement by rail replacement services
  • RB 59 (Dortmund – Soest): Cancellation and rail replacement service between Holzwickede and Unna (the Eurobahn will therefore only run the double tractions between Dortmund and Holzwickede)
  • Special TRI train to Hamm: Due to the closure between Holzwickede and Unna, the special train will run from the Signal Iduna Park train station to Hamm via Dortmund Hbf. and Kamen (the same applies to the outbound journey, just without stopping at the Hauptbahnhof).

There will also be a closure of the S4 (Dortmund-Stadthaus - Unna).

The rail replacement service for the RB 53/RE 57 cannot be increased.

Arrival:

  • DB Regio will make unscheduled stops at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK with the RE 57 line from the Sauerland: at Dortmund-Signal Iduna Park at 18:15, 19:15 and 20:15; at Dortmund-Hbf. at 18:20, 19:20 and 20:20. At 18:41 and 19:41, trains shall depart from Dortmund-Hbf. in the direction of Sauerland with stops at Dortmund-Signal Iduna Park at 18:46 and 19:46.
  • The special TRI train from Hamm shall stop at the Signal Iduna Park station at 19:31.

Departure:

  • After the match, a special train will depart Signal Iduna Park station for Lünen at 23:11, travelling as usual via Dortmund-Hbf, Kirchderne, Derne and Preußen.
  • The special TRI train shall depart Signal Iduna Park station for Hamm (via Dortmund-Hbf at 23:38) at 23:30.

Anyone travelling by car should take note of the construction works in the B1 tunnel on Ardeystraße. Only one of the two tunnel tubes is open to traffic; the other tube is closed for renovations. There could be traffic jams in the tunnel on matchday.
