Pre-departure to Zagreb: BVB players hold final training session in Dortmund

Before heading off to Croatia, where they will face Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday (21:00 CET), the Borussia Dortmund players held their final training session at their home training ground in Dortmund-Brackel on Tuesday morning.

Similarly to before the most recent away game against Real Madrid, the club management made the decision to hold the training session in familiar surroundings before only then flying to Croatia.

Serhou Guirassy, who missed out on the Freiburg match due to illness, returned to the pitch along with the previously injured Niklas Süle and Kjell Wätjen. Emre Can trained individually indoors.

The first-team squad will head down to Zagreb in the afternoon. The players will familiarise themselves with the Maksimir Stadium in the evening. The press conference will take place with Nuri Sahin and Felix Nmecha at 18:00 CET (live on BVB TV). (cr)
