DFL precisely schedule seven matchdays – year starts against Leverkusen

The German Football League (DFL) has precisely scheduled matchdays 13 to 19 of the current Bundesliga campaign. In December and after the turn of the year, BVB will play two matches on Fridays, two on Saturdays and two on Sundays. In addition, there will be one Tuesday fixture.

BVB will travel to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 18:30 CEST top match slot on 7 December. There will then be two Sunday games: at home to TSG Hoffenheim (15/12 at 17:30 CEST) and away to VfL Wolfsburg (22/12 at 17:30 CEST).

After the winter break, the Black & Yellows will kick off the calendar year in the Bundesliga with a home game against German champions Bayer Leverkusen on a Friday evening (10/01 at 20:30 CEST). BVB's first away game against Holstein Kiel will be in midweek: at 18:30 CEST on Tuesday 14 January. The first game of Matchday 18 will see them visit Eintracht Frankfurt on 17 January (20:30 CEST). The home game against Werder Bremen will be at the classic kick-off time of 15:30 CEST on Saturday (25/01).
