Borussia in Bologna – pitch visit before the Champions League match

Prior to their match in Bologna on Tuesday evening, the Borussia Dortmund first team familiarised themselves with the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. The Black & Yellows went to the stadium to view the pitch directly after touching down on Italian soil.

The stadium was named after Renato Dall'Ara, who was president of FC Bologna for 30 years. It was opened in 1927 and has around 36,000 seats. Its defining feature is a large gate opposite the main stand. This is where the action will happen on Tuesday evening.
