NRW delegation including Carsten Cramer visits the United Arab Emirates

At the invitation of Hendrik Wüst, the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Borussia Dortmund's Managing Director Carsten Cramer joined a group of high-ranking politicians and business representatives on a trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Cramer was part of the delegation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where he spoke with the likes of business representatives and politicians from the UAE.

"We're delighted to have been part of such a high-calibre delegation. The invitation from the Prime Minister has shown us once again that football boasts a high relevance internationally and can be a unifier and a door-opener," said Carsten Cramer.

The delegation met with the likes of H.E. Mariam Al-Mheiri, Head of International Affairs at the United Arab Emirates Presidential Court, who is also the Special Representative for Relations with Germany.

Carsten Cramer presented a BVB shirt to H.E. Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade, during a meeting in Dubai.

A visit to BVB's long-standing partner Wilo was also on the agenda. Cramer met with Oliver Hermes, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of the Dortmund-based Wilo Group, at the Dubai site.

At Al Dhafra Air Base, the delegation – including Cramer – visited the German Air Force's 33 Tactical Air Wing, which is taking part in the ongoing Desert Flag 2025 exercise.
