NRW delegation including Carsten Cramer visits the United Arab Emirates
"We're delighted to have been part of such a high-calibre delegation. The invitation from the Prime Minister has shown us once again that football boasts a high relevance internationally and can be a unifier and a door-opener," said Carsten Cramer.
The delegation met with the likes of H.E. Mariam Al-Mheiri, Head of International Affairs at the United Arab Emirates Presidential Court, who is also the Special Representative for Relations with Germany.
Carsten Cramer presented a BVB shirt to H.E. Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade, during a meeting in Dubai.
A visit to BVB's long-standing partner Wilo was also on the agenda. Cramer met with Oliver Hermes, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of the Dortmund-based Wilo Group, at the Dubai site.
At Al Dhafra Air Base, the delegation – including Cramer – visited the German Air Force's 33 Tactical Air Wing, which is taking part in the ongoing Desert Flag 2025 exercise.
