Post-Match Report

Facts: Brandt leads the way, Nmecha cleans up, Guirassy and Adeyemi on fire

Borussia Dortmund gave away very little defensively, while VfL Wolfsburg failed to muster a single shot on goal. BVB were very effective up front, with all four of their first shots on goal being on target. Here are the match facts.

Season bests: Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in six games and have won three in a row - new season bests for BVB.

Early lead: BVB scored their earliest goal of the Bundesliga season in the third minute of the game.

Goalscorer: Serhou Guirassy scored at least two goals in a match for the third time this season. Each time he has done so has been at home. He has scored in three consecutive Bundesliga matches for Borussia Dortmund for the first time. With 12 goals, he is the top scorer in the second half of the season. He has scored 17 of his 19 goals this season from open play - more than any other player.

Dynamic duo: Pascal Gross set up a goal for Guirassy for the fifth time this season.

Brace bagger: Karim Adeyemi has scored two of his three Bundesliga braces this season - and all three at home. He also scored off the bench for the first time in the Bundesliga.

At the heart of it all: Julian Brandt led the way wearing the captain's armband. He was involved in the opening goal and put in the most sprints in the first 45 minutes (15), totalling 32 by the end of the game. For the first time in this Bundesliga season, Brandt, who was credited with the assist for the opener, provided two assists in one game.

Ball-winner: Felix Nmecha won 76% of his tackles, a higher percentage than any other player.
