Fan information for the game away to Union Berlin

On Saturday afternoon (15:30 CEST), BVB will visit the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. Around 2,500 BVB fans will make the trip to support the team in their match against Union Berlin. Here is a summary of all the most important information for travelling fans. 

Arrival

Please arrive in good time, as there may still be significant delays in arrival due to extensive construction work on the public transport system and the difficult parking situation on site.

Arrival by car:

  • The address for satellite navigation systems is: An der Wuhlheide 263, 12555 Berlin.
  • From the A10 (Berliner Ring) or A100 (city motorway) take the A113 to the Berlin-Adlershof exit, then follow Ernst-Ruska-Ufer (later Köpenicker Str. and Glienicker Weg), turn left onto Spindlersfelder Str. and then right onto ‘An der Wuhlheide’.
  • If travelling by car, there are only a few parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.
  • Free parking is available at the P+R car park at Altglienicke S-Bahn station. From there, the stadium can be reached via the Schöneweide/Spindlersfeld S-Bahn connection and a short walk.
  • Tip: On Saturdays (until 9 p.m.), the car park at Forum Köpenick (Bahnhofstraße 33-38, 12555 Berlin) is available.

Arrival by bus:

  • Buses registered with the fan representatives can park in the coach park directly in front of the away block. If the coach park is already occupied, the buses can let the coach passengers get off in front of the away block and park 100 metres from the away entrance on the former Lidl car park. This is located in front of the Shell petrol station on Lindenstrasse.
  • Address for satnavs: Lindenstraße 18-20, 12555 Berlin.

Travelling by rail:

  • Please note that extensive construction work is currently taking place on the local public transport system and that journeys by S-Bahn can be considerably delayed.
  • BVB fans are advised to travel via Spindlersfeld S-Bahn station. From there it is about a 20-minute walk to the stadium An der Alten Försterei.
    • From the main station, take the S9 (direction Berlin-Schönefeld Flughafen) to S-Bhf. Baumschulenweg, then the S47 to the final stop S-Bhf. Spindlersfeld.
    • From Schönefeld with S45/S9 (direction Südkreuz/Spandau) to S-Bhf. Schöneweide, then S47 to the terminus S-Bhf. Spindlersfeld.

Admission

  • The stadium opens two hours before kick-off.
  • Please go to the entrance early, as there may be waiting times due to intensive controls.
  • Access to the away standing area is only possible via the ‘Wuhlewanderweg’. Access via the stadium's main car park is not possible.

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • Fence flags (as long as space is available, they must not be hung over the advertising board or the escape gate)
  • Small flags (up to a stick length of 1.50 m)
  • Double holders (up to 1.50 m stick length)
  • 10 banners (over 1.50 m stick length)
  • 3 megaphones (already taken)
  • 3 drums (already taken)

Prohibited fan paraphernalia:

  • Pyrotechnics of any kind

Permitted items:

  • Belt bags and handbags
  • Non-alcoholic drinks in Tetra Paks

Prohibited items:

  • backpacks, bags, suitcases
  • professional cameras with interchangeable lenses with a focal length of more than 200 mm and wide-angle interchangeable lenses
  • video cameras

Further information on admission:

  • There is only a very limited possibility to hand in bags and backpacks at the away entrance. To avoid waiting times, we therefore ask you to leave your luggage in the buses or cars if possible.
  • In addition to the security service contracted by the club, the police will also be present at the entrance.
  • There may be separate individual checks to search for prohibited items.
  • Obviously intoxicated persons may be refused entry to the stadium.

Stadium

  • The away section is located in Block Z (Sector 5).
  • In the stadium, you can pay with cash as well as cashless by debit or credit card or by mobile phone.

  • Fans with a disability can find all information about their visit to the stadium here.
  • A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available at the away car park and must be requested in advance at [email protected].
