Can: "We players are responsible"
Emre Can (to Sky): "We simply passed the ball back and forth in the first period and did not have any scoring chances. We're always well-prepared for a match but we're not getting it right on the pitch. I want to emphasise that once more: it's not down to the coach! We players are responsible, particularly myself. We have to change that as quickly as possible. With all due respect for Kiel: we conceded four goals here. That cannot happen! Everyone should take a good look at themselves. Everyone who was on the pitch is responsible for the result. The way that we performed cannot continue! We need to throw ourselves into the challenges, like the Kiel players did. We can take them as an example. We have to work, work and work. We're a long way below our expectations."
