How does it feel to be a Borussia Dortmund player?
"It feels very good. I'm very happy to be here, to get to know all my new team-mates, the whole staff around the team and of course the fans in the stadium."
How have the past few days been for you? When was your first contact with BVB?
"It's been a very hectic few days. I heard about the interest a few days ago and of course I wanted to go through with it. So it has been a hectic few days, but I'm very happy that I'm here now and that everything is sorted."
What was your first reaction when BVB contacted you?
"Of course, it's a very, very big club with big ambitions, a club with a long history that has won many titles over the years. It was a very good feeling. It's something I really wanted to do."
What convinced you to move to Borussia Dortmund?
"I spoke to the people in charge and had the feeling that they had a good plan for me. And yes, as I said, it's a big club and I want to be part of it and hopefully achieve great things."
What are you looking forward to in Dortmund?
"First of all, getting to know everyone at the club and hopefully playing a lot of games, experiencing a lot of great moments with everyone here and also the fans in the stadium."
How well do you know the Bundesliga and, of course, Borussia Dortmund?
"BVB are such a big club. Of course, I've seen Dortmund play in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League. The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world. I've seen a lot of Bundesliga games, of course."
What type of player are you?
"I'm a left-back. I love having the ball and I like to play attacking football, going forward to score goals."
What are your goals for the next few months?
"First of all, I want to integrate into the team as quickly as possible. Then hopefully play a lot of games and celebrate a lot of victories with everyone."
