First team training session with Jobe Bellingham

As Niko Kovac led his players through team training on Tuesday afternoon, new signing Jobe Bellingham was present for the first time. BVB had announced the signing of the Englishman just a few hours earlier.

New teammates, new colours, new pitch - but at least Jobe Bellingham didn't have to adjust to the weather. Shortly before training began, it started to rain - English weather in Dortmund. After Niklas Süle, Maxi Beier and Alex Meyer, Bellingham was the fourth player to take to the training pitch. The midfielder stretched, grabbed a ball and played passes with Filippo Mane, all under the eyes of the journalists and the camera lenses pointed at him.

When the training squad was complete, coach Niko Kovac welcomed the new signing in his speech. After applause from his colleagues, Jobe Bellingham's first BVB training session could begin in earnest.
