BVB to face Lille in Iserlohn

As part of their pre-season preparations, Borussia Dortmund will face French Ligue 1 club OSC Lille in a repeat of their tie in the last 16 of the past season's Champions League. The match will take place on 2 August 2025 at the Hemberg Stadium in Iserlohn. Kick-off is at 17:00 CEST. The match will consist of four 30-minute halves. Ticket information will follow in due course.

The match will be played to mark the 50th anniversary of the Hemberg Stadium. BVB officially opened the venue on 11 August 1975 with a friendly match against TuS Iserlohn (1-1). Lille are holding their training camp in Iserlohn this summer.

The last meeting between BVB and Lille took place in March this year in the round of 16 of the Champions League. The two sides played out a 1-1 in Dortmund before the Black & Yellows secured their place in the next round with a 2-1 win in northern France.

Borussia Dortmund will play a friendly match against Sportfreunde Siegen on 30 July 2025 (18:30 CEST.). Tickets are available in the online shop of Sportfreunde Siegen. Tickets for the match against Juventus as part of the season opener at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK (10 August, 17:30 CEST) can be purchased from the BVB online ticket shop.
