Kevin Großkreutz joins BVB Legends

Starting from the 2025/26 season, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and World Cup winner Kevin Großkreutz will officially join the BVB Legends. The Borussia player will represent the Black & Yellows in his new role at fan events, sponsor appointments and media exchanges.

He has already participated in numerous Legend matches, fan club visits and PR events in the past – now Kevin Großkreutz is set to take on this role in an official capacity too.

“Borussia Dortmund are and always will be my club and my home. I am incredibly proud to now officially represent the Black & Yellow colours as a BVB legend. I will always give my all for the fans, the club and the city,” Großkreutz said.

The Dortmund native joined BVB in 2009 and made 236 appearances for the Black & Yellows, during which time he registered 64 goal involvements. With Borussia Dortmund, the 2014 World Cup winner won the German Bundesliga twice (2011, 2012), the DFB-Pokal once (2012) and reached the Champions League final in the 2012/13 season.

Even after his time as a Borussia Dortmund player, Großkreutz always remained loyal to BVB as a fan, follower and player for the Legend team.
